My Brother's Keeper

The City of Orlando adopted the My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) national initiative in 2014 to improve life outcomes among boys and young men of color. MBK Orlando provides targeted mentoring services that:

  1. Increase school attendance and grade-to-grade transition
  2. Decrease behavioral referrals, suspensions and expulsions
  3. Decrease juvenile justice involvement
  4. Increase career exposure and employment opportunities
