Swan-a-Thon

 In 2019, through the leadership of District 4 Commissioner Patty Sheehan and an idea and private funding from a local Orlando resident, Swan-A-Thon, a fundraising effort to help support and further protect the swans at Lake Eola Park was created. 

Through Swan-A-Thon, donors have the option to make financial gifts specifically towards supporting the health and well-being of the swans at Lake Eola, now and forever.

The fundraising program is managed through the Orlando Community Youth Trust, a non-profit that supports the mission of the City of Orlando’s Families, Parks and Recreation Department.
